DESCRIPTION:Culture camps are a powerful way for Tribal child welfare programs to strengthen connections to identity\, family\, and community. This Community of Learning will bring together Tribal staff and partners to share knowledge\, experiences\, and strategies for creating and sustaining culture camps that reflect the strengths and traditions of their communities. \nSession 1 (9/17): Foundations of Culture Camps – Learn about different approaches\, models\, and lessons from programs that have built culture camps into their services. \nSession 2 (10/15): Designing Your Own Culture Camp – Participate in an interactive activity to envision what a culture camp could look like in your program and community. \nRegistration is open to all Tribal child welfare professionals and programs. Join us to exchange ideas\, ask questions\, and build connections with peers who are weaving culture into child welfare practice. \nREGISTER HERE
