DESCRIPTION:Date: June 26-30\, 2023 \nLocation: Portland\, Oregon \nDescription: \nThis annual conference is sponsored by the North West Portland Area Indian Health Board (NWPAIHB) and is for Native youth ages 13-19. The conference brings youth together to learn about health promotion and disease prevention skills with a strong focus on suicide prevention and mental health. \nYouth will spend the majority of the Tribal Health: Reaching out InVolves Everyone (THRIVE) Conference in their workshop track. There are three workshop tracks that youth can choose from: \n\nBeats\, Lyrics\, Leaders (BLL)\nMovement is Medicine with We R Native\nDIY and Home Friendly Screen-printing\n\nPlus one track that is limited and by invitation only: \n\nThe NorthWest Native American Reserch Center for Health (NW NARCH) Public Health Research Academy\n\nVisit the North West Portland Area Indian Health Board (NWPAIHB) website to learn more about the 2023 THRIVE Youth Conference.
