SUMMARY:NAICJA Child Welfare Training for Tribal Court Judges
DESCRIPTION:On August 19 and 20\, the National American Indian Court Judges Association (NAICJA) and Casey Family Programs will host a training on child welfare. The training is specifically geared to tribal court judges. The training is designed to be interactive. The training will take place in St. Paul\, MN. The training is offered at no cost. DESCRIPTION:Date: Thursday\, August 28\, 2025\nTime: 12pm PT / 1pm MT / 2pm CT / 3pm ET (90 minutes)\nDescription: This webinar will introduce attendees to the Youth Healing to Wellness Court (YHWC) model\, including case (wellness) co-planning\, goal setting\, and the development of a YHWC incentive/Sanction Protocol that may be used to motivate youth to achieve their pro-social goals\, and ultimately to reduce juvenile and criminal recidivism.
