DESCRIPTION:Dates: January 28-30\, 2025 \nLocation: Scottsdale\, Arizona \nDescription: The NICWA January 2025 Training Institute will be in Scottsdale\, Arizona on January 28–30.  There will be trainings on Positive Indian Parenting\, Understanding the Indian Child Welfare Act\, Cross-Cultural Skills in Indian Country\, and Tribal Customary Adoption on the land of the Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPositive Indian Parenting\, Understanding the Indian Child Welfare Act and Cross-Cultural Skills in Indian Country will start at 8:00 a.m. on January 28 and end by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday\, January 30. \nTribal Customary Adoption will start at 8:00 a.m. on January 28 and end by 5:00 p.m. on January 29th (Please note that this training is one day shorter than the other training offerings). \nVisit www.nicwa.org/training-institutes to find more information. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe early-bird rate goes up on December 30\, 2024.
